Territorialisation and Deterritorialisation

Some spaces which are rhizomic would be galleries (Fig.1), night markets (Fig.2), and clubs (Fig.3) . As rhizomatic thinking is more out of the extraordinary, non-hierarchical, base on what would impact the user experience when they are there. In a different time and setting in that particular place, using forces and forms might disrupt or improve the setting. This is why those few that I have named are categorized into rhizomic, as each space and event in those spaces are made unique by themselves.



HDB flats, Laws, and phone designs are some deterritorialized and reterritorialized areas. As deterritorialized and reterritorialized represents always in a state of change, allowing one to continuously process transformation, creating and improving itself. Just like these 3 examples, it will constantly change and upgrade over time, for the better or worst. It is allowing itself to adapt and set its own boundaries for the users.
