Residential Project

Brief Introduction of the project:

Assigned to a client with a Micro-apartment (approximately 45sqm). With the understanding of the client’s site location and persona. Designing the living space with the concepts of adaptive and sustainable design feature.

Objective:

- Case study and client research

- Basic understanding in interior planning

- Illustrate basic attention in design communication

About The User: (Charlotte)

- Great passion for photography, displaying the artworks and films around her house. No acceptional she loves to invite her friends and family to hang out with her during the weekends.

- Weekdays (1-1 lessons, developing films and potluck)

- Weekends (Hobby, comtemplating and sky watching)

Residential Project - The Gallery

Design Intent:

Allows one to experience the feeling of stepping into a “gallery”, full of hidden spaces.

When entering the apartment, one will notice the artworks placed around the house. This makes it seems like they are walking into a “gallery”. The “gallery” represents her passion for the arts. To share her interest with the visitors. Visitors will be amazed and appreciate the art pieces.
